I've used this set of pans for years now. I have had no problems with them at all. We use them everyday and they are cleaned in a dishwasher. The pans are completely dishwasher safe. We have given this set of pans as wedding gifts, birthday gifts, and Christmas gifts. I would highly recommend this item to anyone from a beginner cook to an accomplished chef. The non-stick surface does not flake off and performs flawlessly every time. The only downside that I have found is that the handles can get a little warm when using on the stovetop, but not hot enough to burn you, at least that has been my experience. For the price, this set of pans is a great deal. They also look good hanging on the pot rack in the kitchen. My daughter was gifted a set from us a couple of years ago and she said, and I quote, "I just love these pans because they are really non-stick". In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Granitestone cookware.
