Dehydrator 18Tray

This is a great dehydrator. I've have been using it for about6 months now and don't have any bad comment about it. I love the ability to hand foods in it. The shelves are easy to clean and can hold a lot of food to be dehydrated. The ability to set the temp that you want is very useful so that you can dehydrate different types of food. I used this dehydrator to make dehydrated watermelon and it turned out like cotton candy, most dehydrators can't do that without the watermelon spoiling. The dehydrator can be used to dehydrate different foods at the same time, you just need to check it from time to time to make sure that the "quicker" foods don't get too dehydrated. It has been my experience, that if you put foods in the dehydrator and take about the same amount of time to dehydrate, you get a better result. The dehydrator is 800 watts and performs the process of dehydrating food much faster that a lower wattage machine. I have made beef jerky in just hours (normally about 8-10 hours) versus other machines that can take up 24 hours to do the same thing. I have had no problems or issues with the machine except for the occasional food "sticking" to the trays, and I believe that was partially my fault for not loading the trays correctly. If you want a professional dehydrator as a reasonable price, then this is the unit for you. This 800 watt, dual fan machine can be used from the amateur to professionals because of its ease of use. The led panel is clear and very helpful in setting the temps and time needed to dehydrate you food. The low noise, only 45dB makes this machine shine. The stainless-steel racks and cabinet make it easy to keep clean which is important to keep bacteria away. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to either start or expand their hydrating needs. Overall, this machine is well worth the money spent. Cheaper dehydrators an dehydrate food, buy this machine does most of the work for you without having to worry about time and temp because you set that and let the machine do the rest.
